Even in a competition, you should always prioritize being a good person over anything. Sportsmanship is more important than winning because sometimes having fun feels better than winning. We all like to win, but winning and having fun is always better. Even when you lose, if you had fun, then it was worth it. John wooden's players were successful in basketball because they were always having good sportsmanship and always having fun. John wooden was also respected by many because he was a good person. He was also one of the best coaches to ever exist, and he was also in the hall of fame as a player and a coach. Even though he isn't alive today, the dreams of those who look up to him are and also his way of teaching.
