Physical fitness is important because it helps with the completion of tasks. You cannot perform at your best when you aren’t conditioned. You cannot perform at your peak when you are sick. This shows us that this quote is more important than we think. Physical fitness even helps with things that solely require thinking. You cannot think at your best when you aren’t physically fit. This is because we as a person cannot perform at our best when being strained by fatigue, lethargy, sleep deprivation, and illness. This quote can apply to both physical and mental activities. Some things you can do to maintain your physical fitness is having a healthy/balanced diet, and exercising both your body and mind.

Duties and responsibilities: Medical librarians are information specialists who provide assistance in finding medical documents. Clinical trials, medical treatments or procedures, as well as other pertinent information that applies to the medical industry are common documents sought after by these librarians.

Medical librarians are specialized in using databases and reference materials to conduct research for medical information. They can work in medical school libraries, corporations, non-profit organizations or government agencies. Medical librarians commonly have training in the sciences, health or medicine. They might also be trained in the information sciences to acquire the skills needed to maintain databases.

Salary: According to the BLS, the national median wage for librarians for May 2015 was $56,880, with most wages ranging from $33,810 to $88,530 a year.

Education: Most librarians need a master’s degree in library science. Some positions have additional requirements, such as a teaching certificate or a degree in another field.

Reflection: I would not like to become a health sciences librarian because I would not enjoy it very much. The reason for this is because I never really got into books in my childhood. I am still a child, but I don’t see myself finding reading, organizing, and finding books for a living. The job seems stressful and requires lots of patience. During this job you can find yourself in situations where it’s so quiet that it’s painful and bothers you.

“Kindness is the essence of greatness” What this quote means to me is that Kindness is the key to greatness. This can mean many things in life. An example can be in social status. Being kind, will render you more popular and respected. You will always lead to greatness when being kind. Being kind never has a consequence that is lawful or fair. Following this can lead you to greatness. Some ways it can lead you to greatness, are by consistently being kind and not expecting a reward from it. Anyone can be kind for the purpose of reaping the benefits. They don’t  really care about anything besides of having a good name or reputation.

One thing I did during thanksgiving was eat a ton.Another thing I did was play lots of video games. I didn’t really go anywhere for Thanksgiving, I just stayed home. I met some of my family members, and we all ate and started talking about life. A movie i watched was Scary Movie 1. The movie had very explicit content, but it was really funny. For sports, I skated outside my house for some days when I got bored. Some Sports that I watched, was soccer. Barcelona tied 1-1 against Real Sociedad. A CTR experience I did was helping cook and serve the food, even when i wasn’t required to. I read the book Losing Faith In Faith by Dan Barker. Over the break, I had to type an essay about the play named The Crucible. I’ve played a game a total of 12 years. The game is named Runescape, and i recently got back into it after taking a two year break. I got really addicted to it, and i would spent my nights playing it until 2.a.m.

“If it is not right, do not do it; if it is not true, do not say it.” He’s saying be smart on what you do and be smart on what you say because if you do the wrong things you pay consequences and if you say the wrong things that aren’t true you might end up hurting someone and if you’re the type of person to say things that aren’t true and do the wrong things people are going to see you as a mean person and you rather be a person whose wise and do the right things so people can see you as a good person. An example of being a person who does neither and does the right things that the quote says , let’s say you hear something from someone about your friend and you’re not sure if it’s true it’s better to let the person know than rather keeping it from them.

“Doing what is right, fair and honorable is more important than winning or losing.” What this quote means to me is that winning or losing doesn’t matter when you did it fair and with honor. An example of this can be when playing a game. If you cheated in the game, no one is going to care that you won because it wasn’t right, fair, and/or honorable. Another example can be cheating on a test. If you cheated on a test, no one is going to acknowledge you as smart because you didn’t do it fairly, and it also wasn’t your knowledge that made you get a good score on the test. Being fair and honorable can be beneficial whether you win or lose.

“Honesty is the best policy” This quote means that being honest is always required, and the best thing to do. An example of this can be when being confronted by the authorities. If you commit perjury in court, or lie in court, you can and will be charged for it. Some people have a bit of mercy when the person being persecuted is being completely honest and owning up to their mistakes. Another example can be during an interview. During an interview, it’s always best to be honest. If you lie, they might find out, therefore not hire you. Giving false information and lying are both bad traits for a person to have. Being honest makes you a better person overall. Being honest can benefit you in many ways. Such as benefits in a job, school, and other subjects. Being honest can lead to stronger friendships and or relationships.

Have the courage to say no. Have the courage to face the truth. Do the right thing because it is right. These are the magic keys to living your life with integrity. You need to be able to say no to bad things in life. You have to have the courage to face the truth, no matter how bad it may be. You need to be able to stand for what’s right, because it’s right to stand for what’s right. An example of having the courage to say no is being able to deny something like drugs. It can also be denying anything that is bad for you, or others. An example of having the courage to face the truth is when someone tells you something that was unknown to you, and you were able to take it professionally, and without letting your emotions get the best of you. An example of doing the right thing because it’s right, is when you’re faced with something that you don’t enjoy doing, but you do it anyways because it’s the right thing to do. Living your life will integrity will mean that you will be responsible, and reliable. These are good characteristics to have because they help you in the future, with jobs, and/or even your education. Having these characteristics makes you a better person overall, and gives you a good name. It also makes your relationships a lot stronger and healthy.

This quote means that those who hang out with the smart people, will become smart. Those who hang out with fools, will become a fool and suffer the consequences.This quote is important because it applies to many things in life. One thing it applies to is school. When in school, hanging out with the wrong crowd can put you in lots of danger. It can be danger towards your grades, or danger towards your well being. It can also lead to things like drugs, bad manners, and ditching. Don’t worry about trying to impress someone in school. If you really want to impress someone, then impress everyone around you with your high grades. Following the fools can lead to the hurting of someone, both physically and mentally. You may hurt your parent, or the people around you.

Vanguard High School was scheduled to play against another team called the Gainsville Tornadoes. Gainsville has little to no fan so Vanguard didn’t want to play against them. Then Vanguard high school fans decided to have half of their fans cheer for Gainsville. Recreating yourself from a bad name can be easy when you do good. An example of this can be when playing sports.
