Thomas S. Monson fire starting video response

In the video, Thomas Monson had to pull some tall grass out of the ground when he was 8 years old. He then decided to light the grass on fire in an attempt to burn a small patch of grass. Since he was eight years old at the time, he didn't know that once the fire started it would be difficult to put out if it spread. He began to light the grass and the fire was spreading at a pace where they weren't able to put it out and then had the people from his area put the fire out after hours of them trying. This relates to his quote "Obedience is the great test of life" because he was tested with a task but didn't make the right decision so he got the result that he set up for himself for not being obedient.
