“We need the courage to START and CONTINUE what we should do, and the courage to STOP what we shouldn’t do.” To me this means that we need to obtain the courage to stand for and do what’s right, and also have the courage to stop what we shouldn’t do. An example of this can be returning something that you stole from someone. It might takes lot’s of courage to confront them, but the person may let it slide because you were honest and were kind enough to return the stolen object. Doing this can lead to benefits, like trust from others such as your friends or family. Another example can be when having to do something you don’t enjoy, such as offering someone your seat on a busy bus. You will have to stand up until you get to the stop, but you person you offered your seat to will respect you more. Others will see this kind action, and might also respect or thank you after the kind occurrence.
