Russell M. Nelson

Russell M. Nelson

“Even if everyone is doing it, wrong is never right.” This statement means that no matter what number of individuals are doing something bad, it will never become right because of its popularity. This can be applied to many situations in your life. An example can be cheating in school. During a test you see everyone but you cheating, but you decide not to cheat because you’ll feel very guilty. After that, you end up getting the lowest score in the class because you decided to be fair and not cheat on the test. This means that you may be at a higher intellectual level than everyone else, even if you got the lowest score. You don’t have to cheat if you know it. The reason people cheat is because they don’t have the knowledge to pass the test. At the end of the day, the whole class might even get 0’s on their test scores because they might end up getting caught. Another example can be with drugs. You’re hanging out with you friends, and every single one of them is doing drugs. You’re the one who is going to be the healthiest in the long run, because drugs may affect your physical health and your intellect.
